NATICK, MA — Natick has opened East Park to the public during ongoing renovations. But the "soft opening" of the park means it's still off-limits on weekdays.

Here's more from a Natick press release:

The East Park continues to take shape and will include a newly designed children’s playground, basketball, tennis, pickle ball courts and baseball field. It will be a wonderful gathering place for families and the entire community.

While we wait for the parks’ sign and final stages of construction to be completed, the children’s playground will be open for the public to use weekends only. All other areas will remain closed until further notice. We ask that everyone be respectful of the community’s investment while these final pieces are completed.

We will announce the official dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony soon so please stay tuned. Thank you for your patience while we work with all those involved to complete this park for all to enjoy
