New England Revolution Honors Local Heroes AMVETS of Natick
The AMVETS were recognized during a pregame ceremony for their influential advocacy for American veterans.

NATICK, MA — The New England Revolution honored the AMVETS Department of Massachusetts from Natick, the Heroes of the Match at the team’s home game on Saturday, May 25 against D.C. United. The AMVETS were recognized during a pregame ceremony for their influential advocacy for American veterans. They had a sideline view of the Revs pregame warmups and enjoyed the game from the Putnam Club.
The members of AMVETS Department of Massachusetts have dedicated their time to supporting and promoting their local community-service programs ranging from Special Olympics and ROTC to scouting and organ-donor projects. Through their annual polar plunge benefitting Special Olympics of Massachusetts, the AMVETS Department of Massachusetts raised over $19,000 at this year’s event.
Present at the match were the AMVETS State Officers including: State Commander Tom Norton, First Vice Commander Carolyn Kenyon, Second Vice Commander Wayne Anthony, State Provost Marshal Timothy Eaton, State Chaplain Robert O’Connell and State Adjudant Stephen Garner.
