No Excuse for Single Use! Please join my friends all over the world, particularly (The Two Hands Project, the AntiPlastic Pollution Coalition, andBalloons Blow. Help us persuade folks to use washable - refillable containers for their coffee, tea, water, etc. In Australia they estimate that 35,000 plastic containers per minute find their way to landfills or are tossed into streams, rivers, roadways and eventually end up in the ocean. Australia: 8% of the US population; if you extrapolate that to our USA dimensions, that's over 350,000 plastic containers per minute into US landfills, incinerators (horrible), or along roadways, into streams, rivers, and the ocean. Can't let this continue. 
I've shared a couple of photos of how much single use plastic we collect in our BHLF Recycle Buddy Bins here in Natick, Framingham, and Wayland. Although we're trying to recycle this stuff and not send it to the incinerators, it's a very sad and disturbing trend in our way of life. --pat
