Obiturary: Claire Crestuk

Great-grandmother and crafting enthusiast has died at 82.

Claire E. (Tartarini) Crestuk, 82, a longtime resident of Natick died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Westborough Kindred Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Crestuk who died in 2004, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Nino and Victoria (Leslie) Tartarini. Claire was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Crestuk enjoyed a variety of crafts, such as decorative cards, scrapbooks and was an avid doll collector. She worked for ten years with her daughter Cynthia at her store in Upton, The Crafty Stables. Most of all she cherished the time spent with her family at various gatherings or simply accompanying them to Dunkin Donuts or watching her granddaughters dance.

Claire is survived by three children, Joseph A. Crestuk and his wife Arlene of Fairport NY, Robert J. Crestuk and his wife Janice of Franklin, Cynthia C. Ramsey and her husband Walter of Upton, two sisters, Mary Brown of Natick, Joyce Hubbard of Jacksonville Florida, one brother Douglas Tartarini of Jacksonville Florida, 11 grandchildren,9 great -grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Peter Tartarini and Nino Tartarini.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, August 11th at 9 a.m. from the , followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in at 10 a.m. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be at
