Reminder: Route 135 Will Close During Rail Bridge Project
Part of Route 135 between Natick and Wellesley will close this weekend during an MBTA bridge replacement project.

NATICK, MA — A stretch of Route 135 will close Friday for a weekend-long construction project that will remove and replace a rail bridge over Bacon Street in Wellesley
Crews will begin work to remove the old bridge Friday morning. By the end of the weekend, the old bridge will be replaced by a new superstructure to carry trains along the Framingham-Worcester commuter rail line.
For drivers, the work means a Route 135 detour beginning at 9 p.m. Friday using either Route 9 or Route 16. Depending on the direction you're heading, traffic will divert at either Natick center or Weston Road in Wellesley.
