Peaches and Apples Ripe for Picking This Weekend
Belkin Family Lookout Farm will be open seven days a week beginning Aug. 6, when apples and peaches will be ripe for the picking.
Peaches and "Pristine" apples will be ripe for the picking at this weekend, when the farm will open daily.
“We’re looking forward to this U-Pick season. The spring rain and cool temps created the ideal growing conditions for our fruit trees, and the crop looks great,” said farm manager John Burns.
The picking season, which begins on Saturday, August 6, typically lasts until September. Belkin Family Lookout Farm, which was founded in 1651, will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Saturday.
