Police Log: 13-Year-Old Allegedly Assaults Officer

Tuesday, Feb. 7

10:58 a.m.: responded to 9 Village Rock Ln. Apt. 4 to serve a default warrant to Deborah J. Downs, 42, for allegedly failing to appear in Waltham District Court, police said.

Monday, Feb. 8

8:08 a.m.: Peter R. Hanson, 41, of 12 School St., was arrested for allegedly operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a subsequent offense, police said.

2:01 p.m.: Police were called to JCPenney in the for an alleged shoplifting attempt. Chantall Richards, 24, of 35 Cunningham St., Dorchester, was charged with shoplifting over $100 and two counts of receiving stolen goods valued at under $250, police said.

5:45 p.m.: Police served a Natick District Court warrant to Desmond Oneal Gilbert-Rogers, 22, of 60 North Main St. Apt. 215 for allegedly failing to pay a fee.

8:13 p.m.: Natick Police responded to the Brandon School on Winter Street. A 13-year-old juvenile was charged with alleged assault and battery on a police officer.
