Several members of the have been promoted in recent weeks and will be officially sworn in to their new positions at a ceremony Monday night. At a Board of Selectmen meeting last Tuesday, police chief James Hicks announced that officers John Doherty, Jr. and Allan Graham will be promoted to sergeants. Doherty, a detective, has been a part of the Natick Police Department since 1993. Graham came to Natick in 1992 after serving six years in Belligham. Cara Rossi Cafarelli will also be sworn in Monday, she as a new lieutenant. Rossi Cafarelli has been a part of the Natick department since 1994 and was promoted to sergeant in 2004. The ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. UPDATE: The location has been changed to the Natick Police station.
