Public Meeting Focuses On Possible Medical Marijuana Dispensary In Natick

Many have called asking about the proposed medical marijuana facility in Natick.

NATICK, MA—Officials in Natick say they've received several calls about the possible establishment of a medical marijuana dispensary in town. One such company is seeking a "letter of non-opposition" from the Board of Selectmen. The letter is required as part of the state’s medical marijuana permitting process that must occur prior to the Town’s local permitting requirements.

To help inform their decision regarding this proposal, the Board of Selectmen has scheduled a public meeting to be held in the auditorium of the Natick High School on June 21 at 7 p.m.

At this public meeting, local officials - including public safety, public health, substance use disorder professionals, legal staff, and others - will provide input and guidance regarding this proposal from the perspective of their particular area of expertise. At this meeting, the Board does not intend to issue any decisions relating to any specific proposal.
