In addition to the routine facilities updates and enhancements that took place this summer at Walnut Hill School for the Arts, we have been hard at work envisioning and planning the first stage of capital projects as part of the Master Plan.
The Dartley Visual Art Center in Highland Hall is brighter than ever as a result of track light installations and the uncovering of windows in two of the major studios. Students will be able to enjoy a new biology lab and a new College Counseling office suite. One more piece of exciting news is the creation of a media arts studio, complete with a sound editing suite and brand new equipment, which will be used for our new film elective this fall and for other media arts classes going forward.
