Retired Natick Cop Honored For Indirectly Saving Woman's Life
A former colleague and a retired Natick cop were recently honored for saving a woman's life.

NATICK, MA—On an April afternoon in Worcester years ago, Christine Sullivan choked on a chicken salad she had packed for her lunch, and the life-saving measures a woman remembered from former Natick police officer Walter Horninghelped save Sullivan's life, reports the Natick Bulletin.
Sullivan's colleague Beverly Presson remembers the day she gave Sullivan the Heimlich, but has always credited Horning with knowing not only how to do that, but extra measures to take if it isn't working.
Both Presson and Horning were honored recently. Read the full report on the Natick Bulletin.
