A little late to the party but at least they came
In less than a week, Natick voters will select two members for the School Committee. I hope to be one of those chosen. Whether I win, or not, I'm satisfied with what I've achieved in my campaign. Here's why.
I've had a detailed, specific platform - from the beginning. I'm happy to see that my rivals have finally begun adding detail to their platforms. It's important that voters have a clear sense of each candidate's beliefs. As I've noted before, this is a platform contest, not a popularity contest.

I'm happy that I've put issues like special education and the opioid crisis front and center in this race. Until the Yes for Natick candidate forum, no one was talking about these issues - except me. I've held a special listening forum on special education and assembled suggestions to disseminate to all power brokers on this issue. I'm pleased that I'm no longer alone in talking about the opioid epidemic facing our town. I remain concerned, however, that we're not having honest (enough) conversations about drug usage and distribution in Natick High School. Now Lisa and Matt are talking more about these issues. This means that no matter who wins, voters can hold us accountable after March 27th.
I've stood outside, I've talked to hundreds, and I've listened. I'm a straight-shooter. I like to talk to people, but I like to listen to them more. I'm a life-long learner who wants to make sure that all of Natick gets a voice - and an ear. I can't promise to make everyone happy. However, I do promise to make sure to listen actively to each side of an issue.

When others have gone low, I've stayed high. I've tried very hard to be respectful and gracious to Lisa and Matt because they're good people and we all want the same thing - a robust Natick. I haven't misrepresented their opinions on Facebook (or elsewhere) and neither have my supporters.
So, this is where I stand. In the next few days there will be a series of public endorsements for my candidacy from respected town members. Please be sure to explore my website for more information about why they're supporting me. Join me for one or both conference calls I'm hosting on March 26th (8:30-9 PM)-see announcement posted earlier for today for directions. Come meet me on the Commons on Saturday morning, March 25th. I've been there every week for months with my daughter, Courtney. Shoot me an email and let's set up a time to talk by phone or in person.
I ask for your vote on March 27th
