Selectman Resigns From Natick Board, Says He Has 'Issues' With Union, Chief, Town
John Connolly resigned from the Natick Board of Selectmen.

NATICK, MA — John Connolly announced that he is resigning from the Natick Board of Selectmen.
Connolly said he was resigning at Monday's meeting, and told MetroWest Daily News that his departure was prompted by problems with police officer union officials, the police chief, town counsel and the town administrator. After resigning, Connolly walked out of the meeting.
The resigning selectman had made an exit from a meeting in December following a heated discussion about the subject of flying peace flags in the town, reports MetroWest Daily News. He was not going to seek re-election in March.
