Natick Hotel Shooting: Police Hunting For Suspect
Natick police said someone shot at a man at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, forcing an evacuation.

NATICK, MA — State and local police are searching for suspects involved in a shooting at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Tuesday morning. Police got a call at 2:21 a.m. that a man had been shot at in the lobby of the hotel. When officers arrived on scene, they determined the man had not been hit and was not injured.
Police are searching for the people responsible. Natick police chief James Hicks said the hotel was temporarily evacuated "out of an abundance of caution," so the police could do a sweep of the area and check if the shooter was still in the hotel. Guests were moved to the Natick Mall in the meantime.
Chief Hicks said he "strongly believes the suspects were not and are not in the hotel." He said he believes the suspects fled in a car in an unknown direction.
