The Southern rock band The Outlaws performed a 90-minute set at the Violet Jam at The Verve on Route 9 Friday night.
The band is best known for its songs There Goes Another Love Song and Green Grass and High Tidesoff the band’s 1975 self-titled debut album.

The band was signed after legendary producer Clive Davis saw them open in the 1970s for Hall of Fame rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd.
The band’s best commercial success came with their rendition of Ghost Riders in the Sky in the 1980s.

Besides their classic hits, The Outlaws performed tunes from their new album, It’s About Pride, which they are currently on a national tour promoting.
In addition to Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Outlaws have shared the stage with The Allman Brothers, Eagles and The Rolling Stones.
