Snow Showers to Make for Slippery Afternoon, Evening Commute

NEWTON, MA - Looks like Newton is in for some snow Monday afternoon.

Snow showers are expected to begin after 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service said snow is expected across all of Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island into late Monday afternoon.

Snow is expected to accumulate up to an inch between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and will make for slippery conditions along area roads, as well as on untreated sidewalks.

Both motorists and pedestrians should use extra caution.
