Sycamore Among Restaurants 'Brimming in the 'Burbs'
The Sycamore, run by a Natick native, was recently featured in a roundup of the best restaurants in the suburbs.

The Boston Globe recently featured some restaurants that stand out in the suburbs of Boston, those that are “are brimming with ambitious diners, chefs.”
David Punch, who is the executive chef and owns Sycamore in Newton, grew up in Natick, and told the Globe he has “no regrets” in moving to the suburbs to open his restaurant. While his chef friends begged him not to move from Ten Tables (where he cooked) to Newton, he’s found success and plans to open an Asian restaurant this summer, also in Newton.
Sycamore, as described on the site, is “a neighborhood bistro in the heart of Newton Centre featuring a seasonally-inspired menu, complemented by grower wines, local beer and craft cocktails.”
