TCAN Receives Mass Cultural Council Grant
Funding will invest in bringing traveling shows and artists to the MetroWest

Boston – Today, the Mass Cultural Council announced $3.34 million in Gaming Mitigation Grants for performing arts centers across the Commonwealth. The Gaming Mitigation Program was created to sustain non-profit and municipally owned performing arts centers as they compete with casinos both within Massachusetts and in the New England region.
The Center for Arts in Natick was awarded a $39,412 grant to support touring artists and shows that visit the MetroWest area.
“The Center for Arts in Natick is a cultural hub that enriches the Natick community with an array of performances and classes for all ages,” said Rep. Linsky (D-Natick). “During these unprecedented times, it’s more important than ever for us to invest in our cultural and performing arts centers that help bring our community together. Thank you to the Mass Cultural Council for your unwavering support and leadership on this issue.”
