TD Bank Collecting Donations For Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

NATICK, MA—TD Bank is supporting Hurricane Harvey disaster relief efforts sponsored by the American Red Cross by collecting donations at the majority of its stores on Friday, Sept. 8, as part of its Bring Change charitable-giving program. The TD Charitable Foundation will also donate $125,000 to fund relief efforts.

“As one of the nation's largest banks, we believe we have a responsibility to help people in our communities and around our country,” said Greg Braca, president and CEO, TD Bank, in a statement. “We're honored to work together to support the people of Houston in their time of need. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this brutal tragedy."

TD's Bring Change program raises money to fund community nonprofits that are making a meaningful impact and assist individuals in need across the Bank's footprint. The program addresses issues impacting low- to moderate-income populations as well homelessness, food insecurity, services for those with special needs, and disaster-recovery efforts, said the release.
