“The Tipping Point: When Youth Use Becomes Addiction”

A program sponsored by the Natick 180 Coalition & the Substance Prevention Alliance of Needham (SPAN)

As concerns around youth substance misuse continue to rise in the midst of the pandemic, the Natick 180 coalition is partnering with the Substance Prevention Alliance of Needham (SPAN) on a virtual program titled “The Tipping Point: When Youth Use Becomes Addiction.” The event is scheduled for 6:30pm-8:00pm (EST) on Tuesday, April 6th. The webinar features Michelle Lipinski, principal of North Shore Recovery High School, Maureen Cavanagh, author of “If You Love Me: A mother’s journey through her daughter’s opioid addiction,” and Cody Desmond, a graduate of North Shore Recovery High School. North Shore Recovery High School was recently spotlighted on the MTV show “16 & Recovering,” which premiered on the network last year. These panelists will share their experiences and perspectives related to substance use. Webinar participants will have the opportunity to ask panelists questions at the end of the program. The program is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required through this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_ubQ1Jin8TaiYZ1UvT1O7uA.
