Tractor-Trailer Crashes Into Bridge in Natick, Causing Delays on Route 9

The trailer spilled its contents on to the road.

NATICK, MA — A tractor-trailer hit a bridge on Route 9 at Route 27 in Natick, spilling its contents and blocking traffic.

The crash occurred at 8:45 a.m. near 879 Worcester St., reports the MetroWest Daily News, with the driver misjudging the height of the bridge. That caused the contents to spill onto the road.

The accident was cleared shortly after 10:30 a.m., with a delay, still, of about three minutes on Route 9 West, according to Total Traffic Boston alerts.
