UNIQLO Opening its First Boston Stores with Grand Opening Celebration at Natick Mall
The clothing retailer opens soon at the Natick Mall.

The clothing store UNIQLO opens its first store in the Boston area Friday, Aug. 29, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Natick Mall at 9:45 a.m.
Larry Meyer, CEO of UNIQLO USA, presides over the ceremony with Natick’s Joshua Ostroff and Martha White, and the opening will feature performances by traditional Japanese Taiko drummers and an appearance by Boston Red Sox mascot Wally.
That morning and throughout the weekend, there will be promotions and giveaways including 200 limited edition UNIQLO tote bags each day of opening weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and Taiko drum performances.
