WATCH: Temptation on Tape as Woman Rips Off Hanging Purse, After Passing it 3 Times
Video surveillance shows she debated about taking the purse, and the money, and credit cards, but ultimately, she did.
NATICK, MA—Natick police wrote on their Facebook page, "Lots of people have been there. When you watch all of the video we have you can see that this person is running an internal dialogue. This person struggled with it. She knew the purse hanging off the display belonged to someone else. Heck, their ID was inside with the $230 in cash."
After three trips by the purse, video surveillance shows the woman pocketing the money for herself.
"We would like to help you do the right thing and get that money back to the rightful owner," said police. "She needed it too."
