Wegmans to Open Multi-Level Store at Natick Mall

Wegmans announced today it will open a location at the Natick Mall.

It plans to occupy the space vacated by J.C. Penney.

“Natick Mall is an ideal place for us to deliver on our promise of incredible customer service, the best ingredients, restaurant-quality prepared foods, and low prices,” said Wegmans Sr. Vice President of Real Estate Ralph Uttaro in a press release.

“The fact that this will be our first multi-level store within a major mall only adds to our enthusiasm for this project,” said Uttaro.

Construction is scheduled to start in 2016.

The store is expected to open in 2017.

Wegmans already has three stores in Massachusetts with one scheduled to open in Westwood later this year.
