Winter Farmers Market Opens Saturday

The 2012 Winter Farmers Market will open Saturday at its new location at 67 Union St. (). The third annual market will feature many of the vendors from previous years alongside a host of new farm goodies and crafts.

Award-winning Shriner's clown JoKo KoKo will entertain families from 10 a.m. to noon and Karen Masterson from Nourish Restaurant in Concord will give a cooking demonstration.

Coupons (available Online) include a free pound of bacon or sausage from Chestnut Farm with a purchase of two pounds of meat, a dollar off for a pound of Red Barn Coffee, a three pack sample of wine from Zoll Cellars for $34.99, a 10 percent discount at Paws 2 Celebrate and many others.

The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
