Woman Gives Birth on Mass. Pike in Natick

The baby, and everyone else, is safe, after a woman gave birth on the Mass. Turnpike Friday morning.

The baby was already born when Massachusetts State Police rushed to the scene.

The father called 9-1-1 from the Massachusetts Turnpike in Natick when a woman was giving birth. Police took the call at 6:26 a.m., and state police along with Natick fire and EMS responded to the situation, reporting that troopers found the baby already born.

The couple was stopped near Exit 12 in Natick, where the baby was born, reported NECN, and were transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital

“Best wishes for a happy, healthy life ahead,” Tweeted MSP, adding that mom and baby are healthy.
