WooSox Natick Town Takeover 2024 Scheduled For May

WORCESTER, MA — For the third year, the Worcester Red Sox will host some Massachusetts communities from across the commonwealth at Polar Park for “Town Takeover” nights.

Natick is one of the 24 communities to host a "Town Takeover" in 2024, with the Natick edition scheduled for May 17 with first pitch at 6:05 p.m.

"Think of this event as a great night of minor league baseball, as well as surrounding events that make minor league baseball SO special... and all surrounding events will feature [and] celebrate Natick," officials said.

In 2023, Natick's police and fire chiefs threw out the first pitch, and the National Anthem was sung by a Natick High School senior. Additionally, the Natick Service Council was honored on the field, the fire department served as the honor guard and Natick kids ran out the game ball.
