• At Needham Science Center, Discoveries are Elementary (needhamlocal.org) — Needham families and educators are gearing up for school with the Needham Science Center assembling hands-on science kits for every elementary classroom and recruiting new volunteers. The center's long-running, locally unique program boosts science scores, supports culturally responsive lessons, and even cares for live classroom animals. Residents can now sign up for monthly volunteer nights to help pack materials.
