The 48th Annual Newton Mayor’s Community Breakfast To Be Held May 25

The event will be held at 7:30 a.m. the University of Massachusetts Amherst's Mount Ida Campus in the Shaw Hall Courtyard.

NEWTON, MA — The 48th Annual Theodore D. Mann Newton Mayor’s Community Breakfast: “Spring Forward - With Hope” will be held Wednesday, May 25 at 7:30 a.m. at The University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Mount Ida Campus in the Shaw Hall Courtyard.

Program highlights will include remarks from Mayor Ruthanne Fuller and a keynote speaker who will be announced. Reflections will be led by members of the Newton Interfaith Clergy Association and there will be artistic performances by the All City Troubadours, Singer Olga Lisovskaya, Vinny "Tata'niki" Iraheta Taino Iukaieke Guainia, and more.

Full program details will be shared with event registrants closer to the event date. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased here.

The event is being hosted by the Harmony Foundation, the Mayor’s Office, Newton Community Pride, the Newton Interfaith Clergy Association, the Rotary Club of Newton, and the Newton Public Schools. The Village Bank is the event’s lead sponsor.

In spirit of the event, the hosts encourage those who are able to make donations to the Newton Food Pantry, Centre Street Food Pantry, the Arabic Baptist Food Pantry, or the Newton Community Freedge.
