Accepting Infant Applications for January 2018

Infant applications being accepted for Family ACCESS Early Learning Center for January 2018

At Family ACCESS (www.familyaccess.org) we understand that choosing the people who will care for your ‘heart’ when you are not there is an important and, often difficult, decision. You want to know your baby is safe, loved and nurtured. Our nationally-accredited infant program offers spacious, safe classrooms with educated, well-trained staff and a comprehensive support system for families to give you and your baby what you need to grow and flourish. We honor the relationship between you and your child and value your relationship with us.

Our three infant classrooms are designed to allow plenty of opportunity for exploration, and our low teacher-child ratios (3-4 caregivers to 7 infants) facilitate sensitive and responsive relationships. Low shelves give infants independent access to their choice of toys, floor pads cushion young crawlers, climbing lofts build strong bodies and adventurous minds, and sleeping areas with individual cribs ensure restful naps. Age-appropriate infant equipment and manipulative toys enhance motor skills and intellectual curiosity. Infants remain in the same classroom for an entire year, promoting strong attachment with caregivers. Weather permitting, teachers take the children out on buggy rides and spend time in our garden courtyard to explore their natural surroundings and enjoy the fresh air.

Keeping your baby’s health and well-being in mind, we sanitize toys and equipment each day and visitors remove their shoes before entering the classrooms.
