Allston Man Killed in Newton Rollover Crash

Jack Jardin lost control of his Jeep and rolled into the median on I-95 early Wednesday morning, state police said.

NEWTON, MA – An Allston man was killed early Wednesday morning when he lost control of his Jeep and rolled it into the median on a highway in Newton, state police said.

Jack Jardin, 21, suffered series injuries and was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he later died.

Police said the accident occurred at about 2:16 a.m. Wednesday morning on I-95 northbound near exit 22.

Jardin was the sole occupant of the vehicle, a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. The breakdown and right travel lanes were closed for about three hours this morning while law enforcement assessed the scene.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
