NEWTON, MA — No one is injured in the aftermath of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Route 9 Friday morning, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Troopers and emergency responders responded to the scene in the vicinity of Walnut Street and Boylston Street after receiving reports of a crash involving two cars. Traffic was temporarily slowed while the situation was addressed.
State Police Sergeant Gregory Jones told Patch that both drivers exchanged information before leaving the scene. Damage was minor enough for both parties to continue operating their respective vehicles.
