NEWTON, MA — With Halloween-themed window paintings created by local students lining storefronts throughout the city's village centers, Newton celebrates Halloween today.
Before anyone rings a doorbell this evening, nearly 500 kids in grades three through eight picked up paintbrushes last weekend to transform more than 150 business windows across seven village centers into Halloween works of art.
