Amy Sangiolo To Host Running Event In Newtonville
Every Saturday, the mayoral candidate invites residents to join her on a run followed by a discussion over coffee.

NEWTON, MA — Mayoral candidate Amy Sangiolo will once again spend her Saturday morning running through the streets of one of Newton's thirteen villages, inviting residents to join her to get some exercise and discuss current issues, learn about her positions, and ask questions.
This Saturday's "Run With Amy" will take place in Newtonville starting at 9:30 a.m. The run will meet and end at Bram Way Plaza and include a jog up Walnut St., lap around the track at Newton North High School, and will take participants by the Newton Farmers' Market.
“We invite anyone who wants to get outdoors and start their morning with a little exercise, to join us,” said Sangiolo in a statement. “You can run, walk, or saunter, come alone, or bring friends and family.”

Those who do not want to run the 1.5 mile route are invited to join the outdoor discussion over coffee at 10 a.m. All participants are asked to RSVP here.
“There’s just something refreshing about a candidate who is truly for the people of Newton, whodoesn’t mind being seen sweaty, and is comfortable just being herself,” said resident Lisa Rucinski in a statement. “It’s just how Amy is—I’m amazed at how much depthshe has and how passionately she cares for our city.”
