Wednesday, March 8
• A possible package theft was reported on Edinboro Street. The caller said she had gone outside to find that someone had ripped open the tape on an Amazon package she had received. Nothing was missing or damaged.

• Carl Estrella, 44, of Boston, was arrested on a warrant charge out of Newton for larceny over $250 and a warrant charge out of Boston for evading railroad fare.

• Timothy Feeney, 29, of Plainville was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
• Christie Apperwhite, 45, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged for failure to return leased property and operating after suspension.
• Police responded to a breaking and entering in progress on Braeland Road. The caller told police the suspect had fled the home before officers arrived and he may have been spooked when he saw her come home. She said the man ran out from in between two houses and turned right onto Herrick Road. He was described as a white male, about 40 years old and looking "scruffy," with a backpack, winter hat and possibly a blue jacket.
