Barry's Bootcamp is known for its signature workouts that can burn up to 1,000 calories in just one hour by splitting cardiovascular treadmill routines and strength training. Its classes vary throughout the week, tackling different muscle groups and workout segments.
The technique is designed to "shock" the body in the most efficient way, and trainers set the tone with the studio's trademark dim, red lighting and a booming sound system.

"While we still have a build-out ahead of us, we’re looking forward to unleashing the red room on The Street in 2017!" co-owner Dustin Martin said in an announcement.
The location at The Street will feature a 50-person studio, fully stocked men's and women's locker rooms and a customized Barry's Fuel Bar for healthy smoothies, juices and snacks. Classes will be offered seven days a week in drop-in rates class packs and "academics."
"The Street is known for being ahead of every fashion trend so it is only fitting that we offer such an amazing leader in fitness at the property," Allison Yee, general manager of The Street, said in a press release. "I think the entire Chestnut Hill community and beyond will be flocking to Barry’s Bootcamp."
