Baza Market In Newton To Stop Selling Russian Imports

NEWTON, MA — Baza Gourmet Food & Spirits in Newton will stop selling Russian imports amidst the country’s invasion of Ukraine.

The business posted on Facebook Monday saying they “cannot remain ignorant to current events."

"In light of recent affairs, we have made the following decision: To cease all purchases and imports of Russian goods and products,” said Baza.

"We apologize in advance to our loyal customers who have grown accustomed to these various goods over the years.”

The international foods store also has locations in Allston, Brookline, and Framingham.
