In was a sunny afternoon at Roche Field. Robert was pitching for the Blue Jays. He walked Sidney who ended up stealing second. Liam on the Marlins then hit a home run over the right fielder, sending both Liam and Robert home, making the score 2-0 Marlins.
In the top of the 3rd, Riley was pitching for the Blue Jays. She struck out two people and walked four. The Marlins ended up scoring three runs, making the score 5-0.
The next inning, the Blue Jays came back and the inning ended with the five run rule being invoked and with the score now tied 5-5. The Blue Jays added to their lead and went up 7-5. Since the Marlins were down, they became even more motivated to win, scoring on base hits to tie the game.

With Liam pitching in the bottom of the sixth and the game tied, the Blue Jays scored the final run on a walk home. It was a disappointing loss for the Marlins.
