Brookline, Newton Police Team Up For 'Heros For Hope' Event

NEWTON, MA — The Brookline and Newton police departments are teaming up to help give children with critical illnesses a critical wish through the "Heroes For Hope" campaign to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

The departments are hosting a fundraising "cornhole" tournament on Sunday at noon at "The Street" at 33 Boylston Street in Chestnut Hill.

There will be games, prizes and community resource dogs on hand to go along with the cornhole competition with the residents from both communities invited to attend.
