We are excited to host a student-centered community project: the Newton Youth Lifesavers Initiative.

This event is organized by two local Newton high school students, Lauren Li and Evan Li, through their nonprofit organization, Heart for Care.

The goal of the initiative is to provide FREE American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR/AED certification training and lifesaving education to approximately 50–100 local high school students. All training will be provided by AHA-certified instructors from ACLS Academy.

Our hope is to empower young people with practical lifesaving skills that could one day help them save a life and serve their community with confidence.

At this time, we are grateful to have received encouragement and support from community leaders, including State Representative Greg Schwartz and City Councilor Lisa Gordon.

Every participant will receive:
-American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR/AED Certification upon successful completion (Official AHA eCard)
-Hands-on CPR & AED training
-Adult, child, and infant CPR skills
-Choking rescue training
-Official Newton Youth Lifesavers commemorative T-shirt
-Newton Youth Lifesavers Certificate of Participation

This event is free to Newton high school students. Space is limited, and spots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
