New England Revolution Gets Its Roll on at Anna’s Taqueria

On September 24, Anna’s Taqueria in Newton Highlands will put New England Revolution players off-field skills to the test for a celebrity rolling event to benefit the New England Association for Colombian Children (NEACOL). Since August 21, Anna’s Taqueria has hosted a fundraising program where guests dining in-store at their 14 locations have the opportunity to round up their sale to the nearest dollar with the difference being donated to NEACOL for earthquake relief efforts.

From 6:30-8:00pm, the soccer pros will be behind the Anna’s line wrapping and folding their way to all-star status for a cause close to the community. Open to the public, the pair will roll burritos for guests and Anna’s will donate $10 from each entrée purchased to NEACOL. There also will be a raffle where one lucky guest will win an ultimate game day experience including a team-signed NE Revolution jersey and four tickets to the October 10 Seattle Sounders match at Gillette Stadium.

A nonprofit based in Massachusetts, NEACOL is comprised of Colombians and friends of Colombia committed to volunteering and collaborating to support social initiatives for the benefit of Colombian children. A longtime supporter of NEACOL, Anna’s passion for bringing the best in Mexican food to Greater Boston is only outdone by its passion for supporting the people and causes in its communities.
