Last July 1, a new parish for Korean Catholics scattered throughout the Archdiocese was established with a home site at Corpus Christi Church in the Auburndale section of Newton. The new parish is named St. Antoine Daveluy. He was a 19th century missionary, sent to Korea and died a martyr for the church in 1866. Cardinal O'Malley made a visit to the church on Sunday, Dec. 22 and was warmly welcomed by the people and the pastor, Fr. Dominick Jung. A luncheon followed in the parish hall.
