Celebrate the Season at Newton's Harvest Fair

Next weekend, Newton will host a day of carnival rides, food, crafts, music and fun.

NEWTON, MA – Newton's Harvest Fair is fast approaching, and there's no better time to get out and enjoy the season with your neighbors.

On Saturday, Oct. 15 and Sunday, Oct. 16, come on down to Newton Center at Langley Road and Centre Street and take part in kiddie amusement rides, face painting and sand art with your family.

On Sunday, the entertainment gets kicked up a notch, as there will be more than 100 craft vendors and informational booths, free pumpkin decorating, music and delicious food. Sunday also features a special Green Expo presentation, where exhibitors will share tips on how to reduce waste and lower your carbon footprint.

Here's a look at Sunday's entertainment lineup:

  • 10 a.m. - The Dominoes
  • 10:30 a.m. - Jared & The Giants
  • 11 a.m. - Giroux Brothers
  • 11:30 a.m. - Joanne Langione Dance Studio
  • 12 p.m. - Suzuki School of Newton
  • 12:30 p.m. - Creative Dance Steps
  • 1 p.m. - Highlands Conservatory Band
  • 1:30 p.m. - Newton Youth Players
  • 1:30 p.m. - Loose Change
  • 2:30 p.m. - YCCA
  • 3:30 p.m. - Spicoli's

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
