Congressman-Elect Auchincloss Announces Senior Staff Hires
Auchincloss will be maintaining the District Offices in Newton and Attleboro currently occupied by Congressman Joe Kennedy.

Congressman-elect Jake Auchincloss announced the appointment of senior staff who will serve in his Congressional Office for this coming term. Earlier this month, Congressman-elect Auchincloss was appointed to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and, as previously reported, he will be maintaining the District Offices in Newton and Attleboro currently occupied by Congressman Joe Kennedy. Tim Hysom, Chief of Staff: Tim has most recently served as Chief of Staff to Congressman Alan S. Lowenthal (D, CA-47) where he maintained a diverse legislative portfolio in addition to overseeing all office operations. Tim led the setup of Congressman Lowenthal’s Freshman Office in 2013 after having previously served as a Legislative Assistant and later Deputy District Director for Congressman Adam Schiff (D, CA-28), current Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. In addition to his Capitol Hill experience, Tim worked on a variety of issues focused on better Legislative Branch governance at the Congressional Management Foundation, a nonpartisan nonprofit whose mission is to build trust and effectiveness in Congress. Tim first came to Congress as the Office Manager for former Congressman David Skaggs of Colorado. He also currently serves as the Acting President of the House Chief of Staff Association.
Dana Hanson, District Director: Dana comes to the office of Congressman-elect Auchincloss from the City of Newton Mayor’s office where she was the Director of Community Engagement and Inclusion. In this role, Dana was a key advisor to Mayor Ruthanne Fuller on community relations and engagement, and served as the Mayor’s liaison to residents, community and advocacy groups, non-profit organizations, Newton City Councilors, the Massachusetts State Delegation, and US Congressional and Senate Offices. In addition to being the Co-Chair of Mayor Ruthanne Fuller’s successful campaign, Dana has served on the Board of Trustees at the Newton Free Library, on the Board of Directors of the Auburndale Community Library, and as PTO President and School Council Member in the Newton Public Schools (NPS) system elementary and middle schools.
Jessica Mulligan, Legislative Director: A Massachusetts native, Jessica is the Senior Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (D, WA-07), current Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC). In her role, Jessica trained and supervised a legislative team, delivered legislative victories for the district as lead appropriations staffer and established her office’s legislative agenda on education, foreign policy, transportation and a variety of other policy issue areas. Jessica was appointed to her current role in Congresswoman Jayapal’s office after having previously served as a Legislative Assistant. In addition to her work on Capitol Hill, Jessica has served as the Government Relations Manager at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC), and as a Government Affairs Associate at The Glover Park Group (GPG).
Matt Corridoni, Communications Director: Matt spent the second half of the 2020 cycle serving as the spokesman for Senate Majority PAC (SMP)—the Senator Chuck Schumer (D, NY) aligned Super PAC solely dedicated to building a Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate. In addition, Matt served as the spokesman for SMP's affiliate C4 organizations. Prior to joining SMP, Matt was the Deputy Director of Rapid Response for Pete Buttigieg's historic presidential campaign where he helped lead the South Bend War Room after having served as the Press Secretary for Buttigieg's 2017 campaign to become DNC Chair—a bid that launched his national profile. Matt previously worked in the Boston Media Market and with the Capitol Hill press corps from 2017-2019, leading earned media for Congressman Seth Moulton’s (D, MA-06) Capitol Hill Office and political organizations. Matt has worked professionally in political communications since the 2014 campaign cycle at the local, congressional, and national levels.
