Dog Reportedly Rescued from Charles River

It is being reported that a dog fell through the ice on the Charles River, and the Newton Fire Department headed to the scene with ropes and suits around 3 p.m., according to a Tweet from @firephoto161.

At least one person is posting that the dog was rescued. Brian D’Amico, freelance photojournalist, followed that the dog was pulled from the water, off Williams Street.
