Dog Santa Photos, Holiday Pop-Up Shop This Weekend at Newton's L'Aroma Cafe

NEWTON, MA – L'Aroma Cafe in West Newton is hosting a paw-some event this weekend for families and pets alike.

Grown-ups can get their shopping done at the Holiday Pop-up Shop, which features local artists and crafters, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Meanwhile their kids (and dogs) can get their pictures taken with Santa or one of the Winter Wonderland Snowmen from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Oh, and one very important note: dog costumes are available upon request.

Below is a list of artists whose work will be available to buy:

• Lauren Berman – jewelry and winter accessories

• Upland Road Eco Boutique – sustainable, fair-trade gifts, organic clothing, accessories, dog gear, bamboo kitchenware

• Lisa Sazer – paintings, decoupage, framed watercolors and cards

• Katherine Gekas – pottery, upcycled mittens, natural creams and balms

L'Aroma Cafe is located at 15 Spencer St. in West Newton behind the West Newton Cinema.
