Art Exhibit Reception: Boat Works by Janet Smith

Come to the Newton Free Library for the reception for the art exhibit Boat Works by Janet Smith, which will be on display in the Main Hall from July 3 through 30.

"When Janet Smith began to photograph old boats she found that the closer she got, the more she saw. Boats make interesting patterns and are constantly rearranging themselves into reflections that perform a water dance of sorts. When the reflections are photographed the camera freezes a moment in time and every image reveals something new."
