Come to the Newton Free Library to join author Arthur Singer who will discuss his book Boston's Downtown Movie Palaces. Since the late 1800s Boston has been a trendsetter in the development of the movie business, and Singer's book contains more than 200 vintage photographs and memories of Boston’s movie house treasures. Take an illustrated journey into these elegant buildings.
The program will be followed by a book signing with books provided by New England Mobile Book Fair.
