Ali, a Muslim youth moves with his family from Lebanon to a hardscrabble Berlin neighborhood. A smart kid, he falls in with a bad group of teens and ultimately damages the apartment of an aging, Russian Jewish tenant in his building in this movie about forging relationships, Jewish/Muslim issues and making choices. Director Leo Khasin makes his debut. In German with English subtitles.
