Newton Open Studios is revamping the fall juried show to allow many more Newton artists to participate! Held on Nov. 3-4 at the Newton Cultural Center, this intensive fall weekend show (attracts well over 1000 visitors) now has 2 exciting juried sections, and artists may apply to ONE or BOTH sections. This year's juror: Paula Tognarelli, director of the Griffin Museum.

SECTION 1- JURIED SALON: all-new section geared to Fine artists -- will include one to two pieces from each juror-selected artist. Artists pay ONLY an application fee ($20 for NOS-artist, $30 for non-NOS-artist), and may submit 3 images. Artist need not attend– volunteers monitor work and make sales.

SECTION 2- JURIED EXHIBIT BOOTHS: a fine art/craft sale of 12-20 juror-selected artists/craftspeople assigned spaces to sell their own work. Artists pay application fee and Booth fee, and may present work of their own choice.
